If you are a new model or want to give modeling a try, we can produce high quality portfolios and promote you with the design of a stylish and effective web site. We provide free test shoots, and in some cases will work on a 'time for prints' basis.  'Time for prints' means that we will provide you with a limited amount of professional prints in exchange for your time in front of the camera. 

This is a value to both parties; the model gets professional quality photography at no cost and the photographer gets to add to his own portfolio, or try out new lighting and photographic techniques.  When you are starting out any chance you have to get in front of the camera and see some results is valuable. It is a chance to gain some experience, try new make-up, poses, expression, wardrobe, and see how the camera sees you.

For those in need of a first rate portfolio, or need your existing portfolio updated, we can provide a full portfolio service providing both studio and location photography.  Prices are reasonable and advice is free. All work can be completed in-house in our 100% digital workflow so rapid turn round is guaranteed and your images will be available to you for print or online uses.  We offer full post processing and digital retouching services.

And of course, being a full service firm, we can offer web design and promotional services that add value beyond what most photography studios can offer. 

We are NOT a modeling agency and we cannot promise you work, however we can pass your information along to people with whom we have personal relationships in the industry.  We stand as a attractively priced alternative to agency mandated services (many of which are scams) or 'modeling schools' that require paid portfolios as part of the 'tuition' (another popular industry scam), West of East photogrfx can tailor services to YOUR needs and put YOUR best interests in the forefront. 

Despite the glamour and hype you may have seen on TV or in movies, modeling is hard work. It's boring sometimes (okay. many times).  It's a lifestyle filled with ups and downs and some times rejection.  Not all jobs pay well, especially when starting out. Unless you are seriously committed about modeling, willing to work at it on your own time, live a healthy life style, etc., you will not succeed as a model. You have to understand that there are many people who want to be models. They are doing everything they can to be successful.
